RAW FOOD When food is cooked over 118 degrees F for three minutes or longer, its protein had coagulated, its sugar has become caramelized, its natural fibers have been broken down, 30% to 50% of its vitamins and minerals have been destroyed and 100% of its enzymes have been destroyed. Cooked foods suppress the immune system and destroys vitamins, enzymes, minerals, nucleic acids, chlorophyll, and damages fats, making them indigestible. This matter is changed from its natural state to a poison. Raw foods has the best balance of water, nutrients, and fiber to meet your body's needs. Cooking causes the inorganic elements to enter your blood stream, circulate through the system, settle into the arteries and veins and deaden the nerves. After cooking, the body loses its flexibility, arteries lose their pliability, nerves lose the power of conveying impressions, the spinal cord becomes hardened, the tissues throughout the body contract, and the human becomes prematurely old. This matter is deposited in the joints, causing enlargement of the joints or stores in the internal organs finally accumulating around the heart.
Raw foods are easily digested, require only 24-36 hours for transit time through the digestive tract, as compared to 40-100 hours for cooked food. This increases the threat of putrefaction and disease. Raw foods feed the body the vital nutrients it needs to survive and thrive. The enzymes of the food will digest itself, freeing up the vital enzymes to let the body heal itself.
JUICE THERAPY Using raw fruit or vegetable juices helps to give the body the vital nutrients it needs to repair itself. By juicing, you are absorbing more vitamins and minerals because they don't have to go through the digestive process. The are more utilizable and feed the body quicker.
